Privacy & local file processing
You can use My Easy Converter as a guest. If you choose an account, account information and local document history serve different purposes and are stored in different places.
Documents and conversion results
The published tools process chosen files in your browser. Documents are not sent to the account service. Temporary file data and download links are used while the tool is open; completed downloads remain wherever you save them on your device.
Member file history
While signed in, completed results are stored in this browser’s local database with the filename, file type, size, creation time, tool name, and account identifier. History supports search, repeat downloads, and reuse in compatible tools. It is limited to 250 MB per account in this browser and does not sync to other devices.
Account information
Creating an account sends your name, email address, and password to the account service. It stores your name, email, salted password hash, and session records in its account database. The password is hashed for verification rather than stored as plain text. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days.
Your storage controls
Delete a saved file or use Clear history to remove local copies for the signed-in account. Clearing site data removes browser history and session cookies, but does not delete account records from the account service or files already downloaded to your device. Signing out ends the active session without deleting saved local files. There is currently no self-service account-deletion screen.
Network requests and external websites
The site may load fonts or conversion software. File contents are not included in those downloads. Links to official government forms open external websites, which have their own privacy practices. This application does not include advertising or analytics tracking.
Choose the workflow that fits
Guests can process and download results without automatic member history. Members can keep local results for convenience. On a shared device, remove saved copies you no longer need and sign out; history is not separately encrypted by this application.
