HELP FOR YOUR NEXT STEP

Frequently asked questions

Answers about getting started, choosing formats, saving results, and keeping control of your files.

Getting started

Do I need to sign up or log in?

No. Choose a tool, select your file, and download the result as a guest. Accounts are optional and add saved-file history in the browser you are using.

Are the tools free to use?

The published tools are free to use. There is no payment step or subscription requirement in this application. File size, page count, image dimensions, and your device’s available memory still limit what can be processed.

How do I choose the right tool?

Browse the converter categories or search by file format. Open a tool’s page to see its accepted input and output notes. Choose your file, review any options, and start processing. Your original file is not overwritten.

Can I use My Easy Converter on a phone?

Yes, in a modern browser with file access and the required conversion features. Large documents, image sequences, and video conversions use significant memory and may work better on a computer. Keep the tab open until processing finishes.

Files & conversion results

What are the file limits?

Most converters accept one file up to 30 MB; audio and video converters accept up to 100 MB. PDF conversions generally support up to 100 pages, and image processing has a 20-megapixel safety limit. Individual tools explain their specific limits before you begin.

Will Word, spreadsheet, or presentation formatting be preserved?

Each tool has different output behavior. PDF-to-Word extracts selectable text into a DOCX document; PDF-to-PowerPoint places page images on slides. Spreadsheet-to-PDF exports labeled cell values, rather than reproducing the spreadsheet’s print layout. Read the output notes and review the result before relying on it.

Can I extract text from a scanned PDF?

Text extraction reads an existing text layer. A scan that contains only images needs optical character recognition (OCR), which these text converters do not perform. PDF-to-image tools can still render supported scanned pages.

Why did I receive a ZIP file?

Some conversions create a separate image for every PDF page or image frame. A ZIP keeps those files together in one download. Extract the archive on your device before opening or reusing the individual images.

What if a conversion fails or the result is larger?

Check the input format, file limit, and output notes first. Corrupt, encrypted, or unsupported files may fail. Lossless PDF optimization and format conversion do not always reduce file size. Try a smaller file or another supported format; your original file remains unchanged.

Accounts & saved files

How do I create an account?

Choose Log in, then Create account. Enter your name, email address, and a password of at least 10 characters. Once signed in, completed results are saved to your history in this browser when storage space is available.

Where is my file history stored?

Saved results are stored in this browser’s local database on this device and listed under the account that created them. They are not uploaded to the account service or synced to another browser or device. History has a 250 MB limit per account here.

How can I download or reuse a saved file?

Open Saved files while signed in. Search by filename or tool, download a saved copy, or expand Use this file in another tool and choose a compatible tool. The file will be selected for you; you can review the options before processing it.

What happens when I sign out or clear browser data?

Signing out hides your history in the interface but keeps its local copies. Sign back into the same account in this browser to see them. Clearing site data, deleting the browser profile, or browser storage eviction can remove the files. Download important results for safekeeping.

How do I delete history or free storage?

Use Delete on a saved file, then confirm removal of that local copy. Clear history removes every saved copy for the current account in this browser after confirmation. Copies you previously downloaded remain in your device’s download folder.

Why is my history empty on another device?

History belongs to this browser’s storage, even when you use the same account elsewhere. Download the files you need and transfer them yourself. This version does not provide cloud storage or automatic backup.

What if I forget my password?

This version does not have an email password-reset flow. Keep your password in a trusted password manager. You can continue to use the tools as a guest, but access to account history requires signing into that account.

Privacy & security

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

The published tools process file contents in your browser. Signing in sends account information to the account service, but does not upload your documents. Completed member results are saved locally in this browser.

Is local history an encrypted vault?

No. Account selection controls which files the interface displays, but saved files are not separately encrypted by this application. Someone with access to your browser profile or device may access local storage. On shared devices, download what you need, delete saved copies, and sign out.
